This really seems irrelavent to me. All the money is going in no matter what. Where it goes in really doesn't matter.

Steve, I don't think he folds there no matter what. If you're sure he will call an all-in, you should go ahead and push. I agree with Bonch there.

you are giving him the option of folding though. which he may do. if your chips are in the middle regardless why take the chance that he might fold when he is behind?
the only time it is a definite is when you are beat, my way eliminates any possibility of him folding a draw.Read my musings on poker and life at Online Poker Examiner, Poker Examiner, PokerNewsBoy.com, and My Poker Blog

is it not possible that villain has AK without a flush draw and is making a continuation bet/bluffing a flush?

I fail to see the problem with the play I described in my post.

I wouldn't think villian is making a bluff, he's only making it $60 to call, into a $200 pot, not many ppl would fold there. If he didn't have atleast 4 to the flush he would probably fold with 2 other ppl in the pot. The size of raise does seem to invite calling, which is worrying, if he had bet $200 it would be an 'easier' call, because you could be fairly sure he only had the draw.
I wouldn't be able to lay down top set tho. I would probably push (as its your money), making it $170 more to him (about 45% of pot), this gives you a few options:
a) he has the flush, and calls...you still win 35%
b) he was bluffing, and folds...you win 100%
c) he has flush draw, and calls (with incorrect odds)...you win 70%
d) he has flush draw, and folds....you win 100%
if you reraise a smaller amount, e.g. another $60, villian would call/raise with all but the complete bluff (or maybe if he has something like
)...so you don't really gain much over the other play, and lost the chance of winning the pot right now
I love him who is ashamed when the dice fall in his favour and who then asks: Am I then a cheat? for he wants to perish.

the way i see it, you should raise to about $150. this puts maximum pressure on your opponent. he would be getting slightly worse than 4 to 1 on his money, so calling would be a mistake, but not by much.
