I raise ATs every time there.
"text book" play vs this group.
it is probably better to have more players in the pot though.

I don't think I agree with this. What could he beat besides a busted draw? Anyone with an Ace is calling one more bet if they've called thus far, and as you noted, he could have easily been up against AJ or better from an UTG bettor who then could not bring himself to laydown his overcards.

lol, When you bluff the river, what you can beat doesn't really matter. It's what he will fold that matters.

MXP, there is a very good chance an AK, AQ, AJ will fold to this last bet. even if it is only 10% it is still a profitable bluff

lol... that's obviously correct. I didn't mean to sound stupid. I guess I just meant that I wouldn't expect a bigger ace to fold after calling all the previous raises and bets. Given the size of the pot, I'd be prepared to check/call, but I don't think I'd lead out here in this type of game.

What percentage of the time do these fish call down with King high the whole way? I would not have been shocked if he turned over 63o and won it with a pair of sixes. I was shocked that he had absolutley nothing.
I think that 70% of the time you'll have to get them to fold or hit a card if they call your bet on the flop. How often are they gonna fold a small pair? I didn't see them do it very often when I played at those limits.-You may not know this, but poker is a game of incomplete information.

Check/call here? I like betting out, then check folding a lot better.
