I can happily say that I've never ever ever folded AA preflop, nor will I ever fold them pre-flop.
In NL I'll call anyone who goes all in, if I have AA in my hand. If you wont play when you are ahead when will you play?
AA is at least 4.5-1 favorite over any other starting hand, the more people in the more your odds go down but you are still always a favorite.

Actually as more people enter the pot your EV increases. All the way up to 22 players.
The only time to fold aces preflop is sattelite/bubble situation.

no, it peaks out at like 8 or 9 players vs random hands.

you never have a reason to fold aces preflop, there is no possible way you can be behind preflop, if you are on the bubble then you gotta play to win and you should defintly be getting your money in with the best hand

don't be an idiot; he specifically said a bubble in a satellite tournament where, if you have a sufficient stack, it is definitely the right play to fold them

There are definitely times, in flat payout tournaments, where a fold is correct.
how about this?
You in a Tournament that pays two spots, 40% to 2nd, 60% for 1st.
5 players left. You have 12k in chips, your oppnents have 15k, 200, 400, 200.
Blinds are 100/200.
The first player with 200 folds, 2nd with 400 goes all in, CL raises all in, you are in the SB, the BB is already all-in.

lol That works too Beav, but the times are so obvious they needn't be discussed.

I think people are too result oriented to what happened in the past with Aces. Don't undervalue them, it is a really strong hand. It seems like sometiems people base there desicions based on htere experience. "My aces get sucked out on way to many times. I knew he outdrew me again" or something along those lines.
The only times i am ever folding aces postflop is if there is crazy action when it gets to me, or if im in a really obvious "im beat" situation. OTherwise, i'm paying someone off if they outdrew me,like say on a flop of qj4 and they have qj.

Problem is, few people know how to play AA in NL. Min raising and limping?
