You need to be WAY more aggressive with bigger hands. By raising a good amount with a good hand you'll scare off others with mediocre and bad hands. When you flop top 2 pair, and the other guy raises, what 25c, you need to come over the top with a BIG re-raise (1.25-2.00c). This will either make him think you're bluffing and he'll call or re-raise again, or it will make him rethink just how good HIS hand is and second guess himself on this hand. Also, muck a lot of those shit hands. 23, 42, 75, 10 7, that kind of thing. Even if you do get dealt suited cards, 23 suited, or 42 suited, that would make a REALLY LOW flush. That low of a flush isn't even worth playing. There's too much of a chance that someone else has even a slightly high flush than yours.
If you get big slick, a pocket pair, AQ, etc. bet it up pre-flop. Then, if anyone calls you, make them "pay" to see any of the cards on the board. Believe me, if they don't have anything, their not gonna call you (unless their just plain stupid or wanna lose).
Hope You Win!
