Default This is one for Sunfrog......

I in the BB and everyone has about 1300.

    Bunch of limpers, I have

flop comes down I love hands like this, middle pair and a flush draw, great gambling hand, I have outs against any hand.

I check, UTG check, UTG+1 min bets 20, a few callers, I check-raise to 200, UTG now check-reraises the min! FK, UTG+1 now calls the 360 and it is 180 back to me. About 1200 in the damn pot now - WTF?

How do you play from here?

I am going to post what happened later.

I'd just call the min re-raise for 2 reasons.

#1 and most importantly I'm behind

#2 if I hit I will bust my opponent(s) where re-raising all in may make one of them fold AX..

To me it looks like UTG has a set or two pair and UTG+1 has AX or possibly a draw

    You have to call here................

This is whats wrong with playing these hands..........they lead to tough decisions.

I think you are beat. You may even be beat if another diamond hits.........someones gonna lose a whole lot of chips....

but you still have to call.

I agreed completely with this at first, but then thought about it again and am not so sure. My hang-up is that if you don't hit your flush or another Q on the turn you will likely face an all-in that will be wrong to call. The crux of the problem hinges on what the minimum reraise of your checkraise means. He likely has a set or two pair, there is no way he is laying down a set here. Or he may be weak/ or an idiot and just fooling around or pissed you raised. The UTG+1 is likely on a draw or Ax so I think he will lay down to an all-in here.

So it boils down to the percentage chance that both will lay down (a good outcome in a large pot) - hard to estimate without playing alongside you - but it is significant - maybe 20%? (number partially pulled out of air since I'm not here with you) plus the percentage chance that if you are called you will win.

I think I would push it allin here since this is a sitngo and you will be in great position if you win the hand. A multitable tourney that I've fought already for two hours and have a ways to go (i.e. can pick a better spot) I'm not so sure. Maybe I should play both the same way but I don't whink I would.

This was actually a turbo MTT, still early obviously.

I was kind of bored with poker after 40 min of heads with Jo already.

All the Friday SciFi shows where on too.

The min raise and cold call really gave me a bad feelilng. I decided just to push and win a big pot of quit for the night.

    UTG had

    idiot UTG+1 had

so I was drawing to running sevens to win. Oh well, if it is good enough for Gus in the WSOP ( ) good enough for me in a turbo.

At least my wife and I got to watch Startgate SG1, Atlantis, and BSG together over wine and chocolate.

    Definitely a +EV play.

It takes an expert SunFrog :good:

pot odds/hand odds wise, you can get away with raising it 200 more... and that action should give you a free card from the turn to try and hit your flush... only problem is you wouldn't hold nut flush

given my luck, he holds 33 and hits full house as i hit trip queens
