What's your play? You have him barely covered, 790 to 720.

No-limit SNG hand

would he have really called you raise with 45? He's bluffing the straight.
Take this pot.
What stakes do you play E? I was on the SNG's last night after getting bounced from MTT...........I built up a huge stack and then got silly cause I was way drunk.....nlew stack and took 3rd....ended right around time this hand took place.

hard to get away from these hands u gotta kinda go by any read u might have cause hes obviously either bluffing or your beat i think. With the small possibility of AT i guess but thats playin it pretty strongly. I really dont think a set for some reason, i think he would have just reraised u on the flop if this was the case, its obvious ur serious about the hand. A tard that called with T7..... or pocket 7's maybe. But yea early in a SnG even though i "should" fold and build my stack back i think i make this call....especially if its $5 or $10 game...quality of players much lower.

89 of clubs maybe? Or a big semi-bluff on the flush draw. ATc. Dunno... I'd probably call and kick myself later

It's funny....this is a major weakness in my game. I almost never give anybody credit for having a PP> I looked at the board and went...."classic straightt bluff"..He may very well have a set, but it's usually the last thing I consider.....my obliviousness may work for me, because more often than not they don't have the set...................
I'm still calling.

If the 7 helped then his call on the flop was crazy and I'll pay him for the straight or the set of sevens.
He's either bluffing the flop and puts you on AK or is defending a vulnerable holding like KK or QQ and likes the turn, unlikely with the preflop limp.
I think he bets smaller with a set on the turn as he wants you in.
I'd base my decision largely on the number of hands he'd played, if he's played more than 20% I'd call, if he's a rock then I'd fold it.
On balance I think he's got some part of it but you have him beat 2 times out of 3 with something like a suited Ace that hit the kicker on the flop
edit : just noted it's level 1 so unlikely to have a read on him. So I'd call.Last edited by Irexes; 08-13-2005 at 11:04 AM.

66 or 33 looks the most likely. Maybe limp preflop at level one

As for my stakes, I'm in the process of getting out of online poker so I can concentrate on live games when I get to school. So this is just a $5 sng... I cashed out a bunch, and now I'm just pissing away some spare change.
Anyway, I called with my QQ and almost broke my computer in the frustration of seeing my opponent flip over 76.
But it was suited!"Last night I stayed up late playing poker with tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died."

your raise was good enough on the flop, but I would have probably pushed in a SnG.
