This hand was played yesterday live at the MGM $3-6 limit HE. I think my play here is obvious but a discussion with a friend made me question it a bit so thought I'd offer it up. I'll take you through to the turn and then post river and results later. No particular read on anyone, UTG villian was semi loose semi aggressive, i.e. not a maniac but not a rock only betting the nuts.
Dealt to me on the button:

UTG limps, MP1 limps, MP2 limps, I raise on the button, blinds both fold, UTG NOW RAISES, MP1, MP2 and I call (COMMENTS?)
The flop: ($40 pot)![]()

UTG bets, MP1 folds, MP2 calls but looks irritated, I call (COMMENTS?)
The turn: ($49)![]()
UTG bets, MP2 folds: HERO??????????
For the newbies I want explanations of why you do or don't think preflop and flop are correct, and from anyone I'll take turn discussion.
Thanks y'all!

flop is fine, can't fold with those odds.
a double belly, runner runner flush, and overcards - I may raise the flop, as a free-card, buy outs play (you may be able to get AK, A8 or A9 to fold).
Turn, raise for value here.

Turn is an easy raise I would think unless I'm missing something...The guy obviously has something, so there is a good chance you will get more action with a raise...

I feel like there is a VERY specific reason why I should raise the turn, I don't want to be too cryptic here, but trying to elicit a response without "giving it away". My friend thinks my reasoning was not quite so ironclad, hence the posting as perhaps I am being myopic.
Thanks in advance.

This seems straightforward to me...............played correctly and you now need to raise....this guys not going anywhere, so get more in the pot.
Whats the read on what he is playing? Limped, then raised PF? I've seen this quite a bit in NL play and usually the guy doing it is playing a highpair....not sure what it means in a limit game. I don't agree with it because I am not limping with a high pair...in fact i can't think of a hand that i would want to limp with and pray for a raise so I could re-raise.

I have limped with AA when UTG to keep people in the hand (before I realized that I may not want those people in the hand). He could have anything, however I'm thinking he has trip something (from the flop). You have 15 outs (if i'm reading the hand right) that beats trips...4 Kings, 4 7s and 9 spades (2 of which are a king or a seven). Unless I'm really confused you're getting 8:1 odds on a 3:1 draw. I would raise.
I guess it's possible that he has an over pair in the pocket and was trying to slow play it till you raised, but without a read I'm putting him on a medium pair and his re-raise PF was to get more people out to have a better chance for them to hold up.Trons

Push it all in here for value.... oh its limit, so when the dealer gives you $154 back to you, just smile meakly and say raise.
Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.
