    Default SNG Bankroll requirements

What is the appropriate time to go up in stakes? After struggling in my early play, I was down $250 overall, I have since made it back to being down only $150, which means that I presently have a $150 dollar bankroll on Starz. In past 2 months (since finishing HOH II) I have been grinding out a steady profit on the $5 + .50 SNG's and slowly working my way back to being even. My present gameplan is to wait until I am even ($300) before going up to the $10 games.....is that too conservative? Over aggressive? What is appropriate bankroll for single table SNG's relative to stakes? I like to have a bit of a cushion over the norm to allow for a weekly MTT.

I also have about $18 on Royal Vegas that I use on .10/.20 NL to work on my ring game skills, but I am primarily a SNG player...so I am not concerned with that...not even sure why i mentioned it.

A lot of it depends on your willingness to move back down.

When you hit 200, I think it would be safe to put $66 bucks into 10+1 as long as you will move back down to $5 if you lose.

Also, there is nothing wrong with taking an occasional shot.

My rule of thumb for tournaments has always been 20 buy-ins.

If you keep good recors, you can find your WR and SD, anad find the mathematical required BR from there....

i'd say take shots at the lower limits with <20buyins because the variance shouldn't be as much in those since they should just be cakewalk

I am not really tracking my play. Does someone have a spreadhseet they use to track play that you could e-mail to me? I am sure I could make one, but I am equally sure that someone had a nice one out there already.......my e-mail is listed in profile.

    Thanks!
