This post may sound a little selfish, but hey, I'm hoping it can get some interesting discussion going.

I've been playing poker for a couple of years now, but for the most part it's been something I do for fun. Sure, I've been an avid reader of every piece of strategy reading I can get my hands on, but no matter how much I work on my game, I still haven't gotten too serious about results. I'm just happy to have found a great game I can enjoy.

All of that being said, I'm beginning to realize that being poor sucks, and I'm going off to school this fall. I don't want to end up in the "broke college student" demographic.

So... what I'd like to do for the next month is forget about improving my game, forget about challenging myself, and maybe even forget about having fun, to some extent. What I'm looking for is a solid month of hunting down fish and taking their money.

My question is... what is the single most profitable game to play on the internet? Where is it, and for that matter, what is it? Ring game? MTT? SNG?

My guess is that it's a limit ring game, since all the fish who watch poker on TV have no idea how to play limit... but even if that's true, I have no idea which website to look into.

So... any suggestions are appreciated, I'm willing to play anywhere (it doesn't really matter to me where, at this point... I just cashed everything out so I can start over with a clean slate). Thanks in advance to anyone with ideas to share.

I think the softest games are Limit Omaha 8. the action is slow so you can play multiple tables even if you aren't good at it. And playing super tight it is next to impossible to have downswings.

What kind of limits are you planning on playing?

I am trying to get geared up to give 1/2 Limit a try. I just banked 400 from my BR and still have over $600. I was thinking about devoting 200 to 1/2 but I am not sure the best play to play, I was thinking about Party Poker.

What is most profitable really depends on what your best game is.

O8b, SnGs, Limit, NL can all profitable. I used to make good scratch off of Party SnGs. I can't multi table them though.

My wife was thinking about working from home to bring in some extra money, be pretty cool is I could bring in 400-500 more from poker a month.

Limit Omaha 8 is actually one of my specialties (that and limit hold'em).

1/2 is the highest I can afford... which site do you think has the softest games? And also... what if they have six and nine-handed games? Which one should I play and why?
