I was in the big blind with Ad 7d . Four people called and I checked. There was $5 in the pot. The flop came 10d 10c 8d . The first guy bet $2, and everyone called. I had the nut flush draw and was getting 6.5 to 1 on my money. So I called because I was getting good odds on my draw. I called, making the pot $15. The turn brought the 9d. First guy checked, as did the second. Third bet 5, 4th called, I reraised all in to $20, and the first position person reraised! 3rd position called all-in. 1st guy showed 10-9 for a full boat and 3rd position guy showed 9-9 for a smaller boat. Needless to say, I lost. I am not writing this because it was a bad beat, I just want to know if I played my flush wrong. I thought the nut flush would be good, only to find 2 people had full houses. What should I have done?

how should I have played this?

Was it live or Online? Live you could have possibly gotten a tell that would have allowed you to lay it down (possibly) on the second round of Turn betting if you had flat called.
T9s is an very likley hand in this scenario.
With that many people in the hand, I think I may have flat called the turn, and tried to check/call it down. Those board cards are very scary for the flush.
BUT, since your bet was basically a pot sized bet (+/-), and you had a strong enough hand, your flat call would have still caused the reraises, and you would have been priced into making the all-in call when it gets back to you. I would hate to make that call, since I would be 80% sure I was up against a boat, but I'm getting better than 4-1 there, so I gotta make the call....
Short of a tell full of divine inspiration, I think all your monies going into the middle.Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.
Luck is a Residue of Design.

When the board is paired your nut flush is not the nuts, it's simply the highest flush. Four tens is the nuts. It's risky to go all-in when you don't have the nuts, especially agianst more than one opponent. If you were feeling good about your flush, then a raise of 5 rather than 20 might have saved you some money. Or a flat call would have been good too. After a reraise from first position, you most likely could fold.
Hey this armchair poker is fun.

I agree.....when the board pairs and I have my flush, alarm bells go off and I go in to check/call mode. I am not necessarily laying it down, but I am not pushing all in on a paired board. I might lay it down to an unreasonable bet, but in general I am letting someone else drive and calling most resonable bets.
