Following up on Steve-O's other thread about tournament or SNG issues, here is one:
What do you find to be the highest EV play when you get a big starting hand (e.g., AA or KK), you're in EP, the table is shorthanded (6 or fewer players), it's late in the game, and you need chips?
Personally, I don't like limping in this spot to draw action because I may get more than I want (I really want only one caller). Alternatively, making a big raise at a short table that is usually tight at this stage often gets you only the blinds. So I usually minimum raise and hope someone takes the bait.
My results... it seems like the minimum raise has no real effect... players who were going to fold to a big raise, fold to a small one. My guess is that my raise smells funny to them because, if they've been paying to attention to my play, I'm not the minimum raise type.
What's your usual play?

I try to play it how I have been playing other hands, if I am short and had been pushing a lot, I will push. If I have been raising to 3-4xBB, that is what I do. I almost never limp at this stage.

At this stage, I have been preety aggressive, usually, so standard raise would not kill any action,. in fact it may generate more.
Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.
