    Default Can You Say Dumb?

I was in a raked hands $1000 tourney at prima last night sitting in 4th with 14 remaining.I have 38000 in chips and could easily sit out to the final table.lol Instead i make two of the dumbest plays you will ever see.

I pick up pocket queens in middle position and it gets folded around to me at which point i make it 2400 which is only a double raise with the blinds at 6-1200.(Dumbbbbb)I get reraised to 4800 and another player calls also.Flop comes down 3-8-10 no flush draw.Check Check to me and i lead out with 7200,one fold one call.Turn comes a J and the guy checks,i can almost feel he is on A-K and i am supposed to hit it here for a big bet. Then brainlock sets in and for some reason i think trap and make a $1200 bet.lol lol lol lol
Now that is as xxxxxx dumb as anyone can get.The guy calls and river comes an ACE,he checks again and i check with him and as sure as hell he turns over A-K.It would be impossible to play this hand worse.(Dumbbb)

Well i still have about 24000 left so there is still hope until dumb really sets in.Few hands later i pick up A-7 in late position and decide to try a blind steal,i raise to 3600 and get called by both blinds.Flop comes down A-4-10 rainbow, its checked to me and again i bet 7200 at which point the small blind comes over the top of me all-in and he has me covered. So instead of folding and hanging on i instead call the rest of my chips off with A with a 7 kicker.Dumbbbbbbb He turns over pocket fours for a set and i am done.

So in two hands played very stupidly i turn what could be a decent cash into an $8 13th place finish. Can anyone say DUMBBBBBBBBBBBBB.

    See my A277 post.

Chip leader with 5 left to out 4th. It happens.

After playing that long, it is hard not to make some mistakes.

Lol, and i thought it was a $1,000 entry. Then I read the $8 pay out...

Sometimes your betting is inducive of how people are reacting around you too, or are you saying it was a simple brain fart...b/c I'm sensing a rhetorical/venting comment here?

Yea beav one mistake or two at this stage just really kills your chances and its been happening way to frequently lately. It gets very frustrating to get down to the last 20 or so in tourney after tourney and not win some. And yes dig i wish it was a $1000 buy in, the payout would have eased the pain a bit.lol
Seriously i know how some feel about freerolls but i been getting the same results in small to medium buy-ins.A huge amount of decent finishes but no where near enough wins for the amount of times i get close.I played three multis yesterday and got a 13th,11th,9th not bad efforts but not good for the amount of time invested.

Just way to many brainfarts at the wrong times.I been getting some pretty good final two table tips on some of the forums but i can't seem to apply it lately.Ah well we will keep trying i guess, you can't never get enough info in this game.GL AT THE TABLES
