Blids 300-600
11 player left. I'm 3rd in chips.
On the button. BB is chip leader.
I have QQ.
1st hand on that table... maybe 2nd.
Every body fold too me.
I'm comfortable with just taking the blinds, so I raise it to 2400 (1/3 of my stack) to be sure the chip leader dont think its a steal and call me with Ax and hit...
But, surprise, He call!!! oups
I said to myself AK probably.
the flop come rags dont remember exactly, but crap.
He bets the minimum... so I say ok he takes a shot and will fold. I mean... 600 bet in a 5100 pot!!! Come on. I raise all in!!
He call and show KK!!!![]()
turn blank - river blank
Go home kid!
Honestly, dont know why, but made it a bit fast and did'nt even though to AA KK... probably I just presume KK and AA would have re-raise preflop!?!?
Am I the only one to play it like that? or some of you you have bubbled too?

i think ud be screwed any way u did this here. Just bad luck i think. You cant resist a big overpair on the flop....you made a good bet with QQ PF only other reasonable one would maybe be all-in in which case u would have got called and lost anywayz. The only way to save yourself here would be if you had a good read on this guy and had a chance to lay this down but either way its hard to not think your best here....but regaurdless if the small bet on the flop looks suspicious or whatever hes still giving you monster odds and theres just no way around it....just bad circumstances.

I think this is my biggest problem with online poker. When somebody is dealt a monster pocket, IRL, you can "hopefully" pick up a tell, so even if they limp in, you may get a read on the person. Online, the only thing you have to go on is how they bet and if they limp, then odds are, with QQ (isn't that the third highest starting hand behind AA and KK or does AK come before QQ?) you are a huge favorite over a limper. He just played it "right" or didn't know what he was doing.
Think of it like this, with the cards you had, if he had made the bet before you, would you have called? I would have, and if no overcards came on the flop, turn, or river, I would have been betting/calling all the way down comfortable with taking a good pot home. Of course, I'm still learning, so not sure what is the correct move.

nothing you can do. no need to raise to 2400 at 300/600. keep your raises consistent. you going to raise 4x when you dont have QQ? at 300/600 i like to raise 1600. other than the pf raise there is nothing you can do it happens. i play it the same way its fine
it's better to be pissed off than pissed on

Well.. the CL going all in pre flop in front of me, I would have think to AA KK and probably fold.
