Default What would you do in this STT?

The table started with 11 players but is now down to 10, we started with 16k in chips. The blinds are only at 200/400. I am sitting in the small blind with AJos, the guy utg calls, next guy calls, next guy raises (I can't remember how much). It gets back around to me I reraise about 3k, he put in a decent raise. It gets back around to him he goes all in...what do you do at this point? Everyone else folded.

Sorry if this isn't much info I don't remember a lot of it as I play it back in my head.

Oh at this point in the tournament (very early) I only have like 7800 left, which has me heated because I only played 4 hands, AKos, AQ suited, 55, and AJos (the hand I am asking about) OH and the guy who goes all in has me covered.

I'd just muck this after the first raise pre-flop. I think it is a definite fold when he pushes.

EDIT: Just read your stack size. You put in 40% of your stack with AJo. No good. This means that there are very large stacks at the table compared to yours. I think you are up against AA/KK here. If you are confident in your play, you have to fold I think.

Ok well there were a few large stacks, but not overall. I did call his all in and he turned over QQ. The flop comes something like Kc 10h something, then something on the turn, then King on the river. I lose. Sigh. How much of an underdog was I in this hand?

ya i think youre up agains QQ or KK. i also would have folded to the raise. it seems as if youve overplayed the AJos but if like you say you have 7000 left then its very likely that if you do get mixed up in a pot then its likely youre gonna end up all in anyway. if you really felt confident in your AJos then i would have recommended going all in when it came back to you thus maybe eliminating some of the other players and just focusing on trying to get one call with your AJos. if hes got QQ or KK hes likely gonna call you and you would have a live overcard to draw on.

I would generally fold AJs early to a raise, unless it was just 3x or less. Then just call and hope to flop a monster and bust someones stack.

Most people dont raise limpers with hand that AJ dominates, you bet hope is KQ or AT, and those are slim.

    Fold to the reraise.
