Default Why couldn't this be in a big game?

No hand history because this was a friendly game during our 4th of July BBQ. Friendly $10 buy in just to kill time before fireworks. 4 people left and I am a mid-stack sitting on the SB.

I get dealt 8-10 Suited (Hearts).

UTG and Button limp in.
I call
BB checks

Flop comes 7-9-J Hearts

I had to literally look at my cards 4 times because I could not believe that I flopped the straight flush.

Now I am trying to figure out how to get action.......it's a very loose game, so an opening bet is almost expected from these folks. I open with a bet equal to the BB....25% of pot.

I get call, raise, raise....this is no limit. raises were somethng like 3XBB then 6XBB each (not sure % of pot here). I could not believe it! I just called as did person to my left.

I dont remember the next cards, but the board paired making full house and flush possibility to boot. Everyone was raising every which way you can believe. I just kept on calling until one person was all in, the others had very few chips left, and I was all in (too bad I wasn't the large stack)

At showdown, my mother shows a flush to the K, my cousin shows full house, my other cousin shows 2 pair (no idea why he was in pot)......and I blow them all away when I turn over my SF.

If only this was a big game.

Either way......it was a dream hand.
