Default Would you take me on?

OK BHC is throwing a funny - if it starts working again I'll convert.

I'm going to switch this around so you have to imagine that you're playing me.

Scenario: Ive had a few interchanges over the last few days with Mr Nasty - YOU are Mr Nasty: . He's just caught me on a small pot steal. Although I've just entered the table I've been in the pot a few times and I'm loose aggressive to this table. I am zzemedzz

I can't tell if your pushing here or raising his 17 to 34 total.

If you are min betting I'm calling. If I think you suck I'm pushing. If I've seen you before and I know you are good I call or fold depending.

BTW, why are check calling down, then checking the river? Pretty bad play IMO..

I assume you won this hand, but there's no way I'm folding the nut flush in almost any cirumstance, let alone someone I caught stealing the pot and has revealed themselves to be loose/aggressive.

It's not an All-in - but its close to it..

Re. Betting: this isn't limit - you don't have to drive. Defence against a flush draw when a semi-bluff was made late with two in the pot?

I'm usually TA... Just on this table I'd had the hands..

i would def call here, i would feel too weak/tight if i fold fearing a full house or better. my opponent may have a lower flush.

i am wondering if zzemedzz has 66 as this is the only hand containing a 6 which i imagine him playing. prob not 6 9s or 6 Js.

it also depends if mr_nasty86 is basing his reads on previous days or just the last few hands??

even though i do not think i would fold here as i believe that if a nut flush runs into a better hand then you just have to accept it and luck will even itself out.

At this point, I think I would put you on j6s. You called on the flop with top pair but didn't want to raise because of the straight/flush draws. You may even have just a flush draw at that point (I'm calling your hand with seeing all your moves). You called on the turn (with 2 pair) for the same reason, you cash in on the river because it completes the flush draw (anybody with flush is paying you) and you've made you're boat so you're not afraid of the flush.

I play tight, but looking at your patterns, I think I would fold this hand. Against a TA player, I wouldn't because I wouldn't imagine him calling the blind, specially given your early position (if I read the table right) with j6s. Against a loose player, I see putting you on a j6s and I don't want to tangle with that. I try not to hold it against somebody when I've caught them stealing the pot. I keep it in mind, but since I usually like getting caught every now and then so that I get paid when I catch the cards, I can see somebody else doing that also. I fold this.

I doubt you would have checked with Top pair and a flush draw out there. You would have made a good bet to take away his pot odds.....The only thing I can figure is that you had 6-9 suited and decided to play it. Thats normally a fold, but you may have been playing one just to change things up a bit.

The other possibility is 66, but I think you would have folded that with over cards on board and people betting. 6-9 makes more sense (if you allow for actually playing this pre-flop) because with mid-pair after the flop you would check and then call (maybe) like you did.

Once the 6 hits, I am not sure if my logic holds because I don't know if you'd check 2 pair with a flush draw still out there unless you feared someone had top two pair...since no one has bet strong to this point, I am not sure you can make that read. I am starting to confuse myself I think....lol.

i am guessing you hit the full house. I have no idea what i would do here because I don't play a cash game...that would be a scary bet for me. In a tourney I would have to call you down and take my chances.

I hope this made sense.

actually...9-9 makes sense too......probably more sens than anything. you would have layed 9-9 exactly the way you did. limp pre-flop hoping to catch a set...i would not have slowplayed it with the flush draw out there. I get scared of those draws and try to take the pot down early.

so i am now saying 6-9 suited or 99..i doubt its 6-6

I would call, you don't have the full house.
