Depends on your reads of all the other players...

Personally, I would have pushed after the 525 raise, but I think at this point, you have to fold, unless you have reads telling you otherwise...Although, a call wouldnt be a bad move either...I've got jake on AA or KK, maybe QQ...the other guy probably sitting on something very strong as well..Your original call was weak, I really think you should have pushed there

    Very read dependant.

If the initial raiser was weak I'd possibly push to the initial raise.

With the reraise allin and call I'm probably folding as it's probably a pocket pair and Ax, so at least some outs are dead, with the chance of KK or AA making it worse (the only good result would be AQ and AJ and that's not likely).

As you have a decent stack and it's a SnG where survival is the thing, I'd say look for a better spot to cash rather than risk it on at best a coinflip.

I'm betting one has mid pp (8s through jacks) and the other has AQ. Just a guess from what I've run into in SnGs, but I agree with the other posters that a push after the raise is the best idea.

Fold, You still have a decent stack even after calling the 525 chips. Look for a better spot to get your money in then against a reraise all in and a call.

this is tough, but I think you have the original raiser dominated.

I have folded these is SnGs - without putting my own money in the pot, but regularly call in MTTs.

I don't like your call with AK. You really don't know where you will be in the hand post-flop. The only hope of getting more money in post-flop is if you have him dominated and hit your two outer, or he flops a set on you. If an Ace or a K hits and he has an under pair it will be an action killer.

Plus, you are letting in others behind you. I have always been willing to get all-in pre-flop with AK at any point in a SnG.

Just so you know how many of these I played. I opened my UB account 11/12/2003, and by the end of the year I was in the money in 68 $5-$20 SnGs.

My ITM was only about 38%, but half of my ITM finishes were for 1st.

jake is reprenseting a superstrong hand(AA, KK, QQ, AK) after reraising an all in. I would of moved in after the 525 open but its a good thing you didnt cuz you're a coinflip/split at best. defenitly fold.

well thanks for all of your opinions guys. i did in fact fold. and original better had a/q while the raiser all in had a/k. so yes it would have been a split.

however i did end up winning the tourney so that's a plus.

3 words: raise to isolate... AK is a hand that does NOT like to be in a pot with more than one person..
