Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t40 (7 handed) converter

    Hero (t2040)
    BB (t740)
    UTG (t4705)
    MP1 (t965)
    MP2 (t1010)
    CO (t2895)
    Button (t2645)

Preflop: Hero is SB with , .
    1 fold, MP1 calls t40, 1 fold, CO raises to t180, Button raises to t320, Hero ___________?

This was in a 10 man SnG that I hadn't been paying attention to so I don't really have any reads. What's your line of thinking here?

8BB's against 2 people is a no-brainer fold. AQ is a hand where you wanna be the RAISER not the caller.

Fold is right. I think there is a page or two on it in one of Sklansky's books, "Do you pass the AQ test." It pretty much reviews this same scenario.

Fold. At best you're against two pocket pairs.

Both of these raisers have fairly deep stacks... you'd have to be crazy to get involved with them.

The fact that the second raiser isn't afraid of the first one should really scare you... you should put him on at least jacks, if not kings or aces.

Kliph: which book are you talking about? I'd like to read about this "AQ test."

It's from the book, "Inside The Poker Mind." Page 33.

It's 2 pages long and has a failry blunt opening statement to be made about calling 2 bets cold with AQ pre-flop.

    I have to disagree.

    I think you should fold.
