    Default heads up's strategy

I was looking for sum idea's on dicusing a strategy for heads up play againts a certain apponent. It's true that having an aggressive style in heads up play establishes control of the game and is a winning style, but if you were to have watched the NBC heads up tournament a month or two back, you would of witnessed phil Hellmuth using a completly different style of heads up play and it is also suggested in his book. With his style of play he was effectively a calling station and only puts in a raise at key points. He says that this is the most effective strategy against an aggressive player heads up. I have used this strategy with good outcomes. Yet it has also been used against me and i found it hard to combat this stretegy. When your playing against sum1 whos calls often it lends no room for stealing pots and even if you have top pair after the flop they often hit there hand on the turn or the river. I tryed to come up with an effective counter stragety but i'm lost. Any suggestions would be appreciated.. (and think before you write)

I quite often play in headup matches for small buyins, i find I win around 75-80% of them.

However, when i PLay SNG and make the final two i only win around 25-50% of those heads up.

isn't it the case that if someone calls alot in headsup play these is not much different to playing any callstation, you surely would have the upper hand?

in heads up its different. it completly drains momentum from the aggressive player. Your thinking goes from i was good on the flop but those over cards on the turn and river look scary... Also you never know when they are slowplaying because it's been what they've been doing the whole match so they get extra bets on the flop and the turn and then put in a big bet on the river...and they'll also have enough sense to get away from hands there probably beat at.
anyways like i said think before you write..

you're essentially saying everyone on the forum doesn't think when they write, hence you need to give a warning. wtf is that.
