Why does the amount of the buy-in matter????

It doesn't.

Yes you can assume the majority of the players are "worse" in MOB buy-in events, but there are also bad players in the WSOP ME, especially the last few years. You can't determine Tournament play by the Buy-in, but your reads on the table and the current hand.

For reasons other than the buy-in, I make this call.....

r u kidding me? the buy in doesnt matter?

you will see MUCH more reckless plays like this in tournaments $5 and less with just AK KQ 66 compared to a $200 or WSOP...you act like your the only one who knows anything about poker

u know what marm ur getting on my fukin nerves thinking you know everything...

Marm's right, avoiding getting dragged down to the level of the fish is the way to beat them.

The looser the field the less need there is to make marginal plays.

Why risk it in this circumstance when you are likely to get paid off when you hit a genuine big hand?

Like Dan Harrington says, if you don't get the chips from the fish, you will have to get them from the better players that bust the fish.

And yeah, the buy in does matter, it is a play-the-player thing.

But like I said, I would have raised more, so I would be much more committed to the pot.

Irexes, you really need to come and join us for a few of these turbos on UB.
