    Default Omaha AAAx

hey all... anyone who has ever played omaha knows how much it sucks to get 3 or more of any card in your hand, especially with kings or aces. however, i have a question...is A-A-A-x still a playable hand, with the 4th card not suited? if so, do you still raise with it, knowing that although you most likely are ahead with AA at the time, one of your set cards is dead, and the odds are very high that your AA will not hold up. any thoughts on this?

Not really playable, your set/fullhouse value sucks. Just a pair isnt vey strong. The flush has some strength, but is a long shot and could lose to a boat still if you hit it.

    Fold preflop?
Maybe AAA2 is playable in O8 because of the lack of Aces out?
