    Default WWMD?

    What would Marm do?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (7 handed) converter

    saw flop

    UTG (t2645)

    MP1 (t1935)
    Marm (t1475)
    CO (t1410)
    Button (t3865)
    SB (t2180)
    BB (t5855)

    Preflop: Hero is MP2 with , .
UTG calls t50, 1 fold, Marm raises to t200, 4 folds, UTG calls t150.

    Flop: (t475) , , (2 players)
    UTG bets t2445 (All-In), Marm ???.

Ok History: This guy has been goofy, but very weak. I put him at 5% chance hes got an 8. perhaps a pair, but I'm really thinking AK-A9s where hes trying to buy the pot....

    WSMD???
Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.

i would fold... utg could have possibly limped in with pocket 2s and then called you pf raise hoping to hit on the flop... i doubt this though because he probably would have slow played it... he also may have had a different low pocket pair and moved all in after the flop... either way i have trouble believing that you have the best hand here
Money won is twice as sweet as money earned.

I dunno. . I think I would fold. . no reason to put your tourney life on the line with nothing in your hand.

Has this guy been pushing every other hand, though?

I still think I'm letting it go. Blinds aren't threatening, you got a nice stack, and I prob play too conservative, but it just doesn't seem worth it to me.

    Foldy foldy.

I'd put him on 99 or TT or even 77 and look for a better spot.

The whole thing smacks of a steal but I think I would fold - just not worth it at this stage and numbers.

Any kind of pocket pair has you beat. AK has you beat. So all you can really beat from your estimation is aj, a10, a9. It doesn't look to good to me, and if you fold here maybe next time if you have a big pair he may try the same move.

I made a call like this the last MTT I made 16th in.

But the blinds were higher, I had the bigstack, and it was button vs blind, he had KQ - I had checked to him too.

    I would grudgingly fold.

You simply have no choice but to fold this......I can count on one hand the # of times that I called down someone in this type of hand and came out on top. In my experience high card with a good kicker will very rarely win here. This clown probably played A-trash and hit either the 2 or the 8 with his Ace kicker.

Thats my read......best case you are facing a pair of 2's........

If you pay attention the avg clown is pushing all in with Ace anything. I had a guy go all in very early in the game last night and no one called....it was Ace-7 suited and he showed his cards as if to say "Look at me, I really had a hand".......I sat back and waited for my first chance to call his next all in.....a little later he pushed and I had a marginal hand A...10? cant remember but it was suited 10 or above so I decided to call him figuring he had a beatable hand and he shows 7-8 suited......wouldn't you know the clown hits the straight.........oh well.

It wasn't my best play ever, but i just felt like someone was going to get this guys chips, and it might as well be me.
