    Alena is absolutely right however as you are worried about losing money and don't want to learn from books keep notes on every player and play small small stakes you will know when you have the game crushed. Once you have crushed that game build up a bankroll and crush the next level when you have the correct number of buy ins. Really focus on your game as you play there is lots to understand there are principles at each level. At small stakes ring poker play tight and raise a decent amount pre-flop. What Alena is saying is you will lose money to start with its a given but you will be paying for lessons this way. Keep notes focus and you will improve there will be downswings but you will get to a point that you will be confident that there are more upswings
