Hi,
I'm new here (and to the game), I'd like to hear some thought about this:
I play microstakes live cash game with friends.
The blinds 1/2, each player gets 90 chips (amount of money for buy-in changes from time to time). After some of the players at the table stack up, it is allowed to buy-in for more then 90 chips.
9-10 players
The minimal raise preflop is 20 right from the beginning and usually 5-7 players see the flop. In order to isolate with big hand a 50 raise is needed. Later in the game, the deep stacks would call 50 with much wider range.
I'm pretty new to the game (about 6 month, 1-2 a week).
It feels like the players are too loose calling almost anything with suited connected cards (1 gappers also).
1. I'd like to know what you think about the structure (I myself don't like it) and to hear ideas for improvement
2. What's the right way to deal with the loose play preplop?
3. Can you recommend about some good poker books?
