    Default QQ vs AA NL

    edit: in NL

What would you do if you had QQ against a potential AA on rag flop in ring game.

PF: LP You raise, button reraises, you call (?)
    Flop: 347 or something.
Then....? Reraise each other till one gets bored?

Im guessing you mean for limit.

If flop come 347 and he bets out, I would raise if he reraises I would just call.

If he bets out on turn just call, if he checks bet unless an A or K is on the turn.

Do the same thing on the river.

To my inexperienced way of thinking, QQ is in trouble against AA, KK, trips and two pair, and a coin flip against AK. Unless you figure the other person has worse than that, fold seems right.

nah in NL. i'd imagine it'd be easier in limit as you can call it down for cheap.

Well there shouldnt be much reraising then. You have QQ, you popped it PF, he reraised you, Now if you made the correct PF raise, you could re-re-raise since he thinks you are stealing.

On the flop, the pot should be big enough by now that pushing here first is not a bad play.

In limit, you should be capping each street until the river, I would probably back off and call it for 2 bets on the river. Depends on how tight he is...
Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.

    1.) What's the raise/re-raise?

2.) If you think that your opponent has Aces, your implied odds should be better than 4:1 and you're looking for a set.

3.) How do you know that your opponent has Aces? You can't see their cards? If you have them this well read, why are you worrying?

in limit, if you guys capped preflop you'd really cap the flop and turn with QQ on a four rag flop? isn't there a pretty good chance he has AA/KK or a set?

But aren't the odds on hitting a set way worse than 4:1? If you assume opponent has AA, isn't it 2 out of 45? 22.5:1 seems like pretty long pot odds

Why would you put the opponent on AA pre-flop?
