Party $1/2 LHE
Hero is BB with,
Preflop:
UTG calls. UTG+1 calls. MP1 folds. MP2 raises. 4 folds. Hero 3-bets.
UTG calls. UTG+1 calls. MP2 caps. Hero calls. UTG calls. UTG+1 calls.
Flop ($16):,
,
Hero bets. UTG calls. UTG+1 calls. MP2 raises. Everyone calls.
Turn ($24):
Hero checks. UTG bets. UTG+1 calls. MP2 raises. Hero calls.
UTG calls. UTG+1 folds.
(I didn't reraise here because I wanted both UTG and UTG+1 to call)
River ($38):
Hero checks. UTG bets. MP2 raises. Hero ____??
Obviously I'm not going to fold, and MP2 is not crazy loose, VPIP around 20-25% and normal PFR/agrro. Should I have bet out the river? How should I have played this hand differently?
As for the decision, he's been playing his hand like AA, so the question comes down to raise or call...

Call, and hope for an over call, it will come out the same.
Why the heck didnt you raise the turn?

The reason I didn't reraise the turn is I figure it like this... if I reraise and both UTG and UTG+1 fold, then it will be heads up on the river, but I figure if they both call (one of them folded) its $4 more AND all three would probably call a river bet... hell even one of the UTG or UTG+1 might be drawing and hit their draw... I am really only scared of an ace on the river anyway, so I thought it was the best way to maximize profit... should I have played it differently? I'm no expert.

The pot is big enough on the turn that you don't care about maximizing your profits here, you jsut want to win the pot. If it had been limped and called on earlier streets I Can see some deception having some +EV here, but not now... POP it. RIght now I'm afraid of any paint (other than a Q) hitting the board. Thats alot of outs. Push it hard.

I wouldn't stop raising at any point. You have the action. Only JJ and AA beats you and the possibility of Villian having KK, AK, AQ, or AJ.
I'd raise the river, but calling doesn't hurt, though if you call, I've got a feeling that you're goin' to 4 bets anyway, so you might as well raise.
BTW, you only suspect AA because he showed you AA.

I Agree that you should have been more agressivley raising Post flop. Your Hand was Obviously solid, while you were shown A/x at best(In my opinion) You Would have Induced a fold and perhaps an iffy call. At this point taking it down is priority over profits there are possible quirky hands that can come up you don't want people to feel they can afford a risk, you want them folding at the turn cursing their luck.
It was still well played I Don't feel you made any mistakes but it wasn't the best

Thats not true at all, Not betting the Turn is a HUGE mistake, practically and Theoretically.
