Default Can I Lay This Down?

This is a 25 or so person tournament. Blinds are 30/60. My stack is about 2100. I am dealt in the small blind. Button has about 3300. CO has about 2000.

Folds to CO, who raises to 120. Button flat calls. I reraise to 300. BB folds. CO calls. Button calls. Pot is about 1000.

    Flop:

I bet 750. Button raises me 1000 more. Can I lay my hand down? I had just switched tables so I had no reads on this guy.

ur done.... ur screwed... i can only see the button having AA.. think about it, he calls the initial raise cold, he calls your raise cold, then he raises your bet on the flop. I really cant see him having anything you can beat

I think you are giving them too much credit Av.

I would guess KJ over AA.

    That is a tough spot.

Of course you could be tied or he could have JJ.

Tough spot, you will only have 1050 if fold right?

What is the structure like? How have the players been in general?

Was about to say the same...

its AA or.. even worse, maybe KK... however, he would havebeen more agressive with KK pre flop and less on the flop...

I reckon he's most likely to have AK as well or thinks you are trying to buy the pot.

I'd push in your situation and pay off the AA.

Incidentally I would have called rather than raised pre-flop and bet less on the flop.

Well AA or not, the only hand he can beat is KQ... IMO...

    edit: maybe QQ...
