    Default how to play j10s

I was taking a look through some past hands and I've found that J10suited can be a trouble hand. How do you guys play it when you flop top pair with J10 with no flush or straight draw?

What LImit and game is this?

Basically, PF, regardless of the game, you need to be limping in late in a family pot with this hand. It really doesn't have a lot of strength 3-4 way, but does have some (not much though, but better than 4 way) HU, but is best suited in a 6+ player pot. Just make sure your in LP, and an unraised pot.

If its limit, I bet out from LP if nobody has bet yet and see who plays and how....

NL, again I'll bet it and gauge their reactions.
Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.

In early position I often check and if someone bets late I'll raise i.e. standard "small stakes hold'em style" isolation checkraise with a good but not great hand. If I don't think I'll be able to isolate it heads up I'll usually check and call the flop since you usually will have pot odds/implied odds to spike trips or two pair assuming the typical 5-6 see the flop. If is two bets to me I dump it.

All this is extremely table dependent of course but I don't like just betting out in early position as it doesn't protect your hand and who knows if someone will raise behind you. I love a checkraise here if circumstances allow it - it also gets out the people with draws behind you to the double bet.

Late position I agree with Marm - bet out and see what happens.
