Your opponent bets flop, you call, bets turn , you call, then checks river like its a bluff. do you bet ? what does that check symbolize for him? and if you do bet how much? do you shove to make him fold?

Why are you calling with nothing?
And Phil Hellmuth (or one of the other Phil's maybe) once wrote an article on Checking for value. But I've never heard of checking as a bluff?

Usually when I raise preflop, bet flop and turn, and check river...It means I know you have nothing and I'm just waiting for you to do something stupid like bluff your junk hand.
