Default Playing KK with Ace on flop

Somewhere around 60-80% of the time I have Kk there is an ace on flop. Considering that I raised or re-raised preflop and get one-two callers... What is a good way to play the flop. I normally check-fold in early pos; and call in late pos.

I feel this is at times a mistake.

However, I tend to believe that someone calling a reraise preflop will have atleast a weak-suited ace or a strong ace. Any suggestions for how to play this scenario without loosing too much of an investment.

    What game you playing?

Limit? No Limit? What types of tables? What limits?

In Low Limit HE, You should be trying to 4 bet pre-flop, and stay aggressive on the flop. If you can't open the flop, and depending on who bets/calls, 2 betting the flop is not a bad idea. You need to get a feel for what they are holding. If you 2 bet the flop, and you get a caller or two, you have set your self up for a free turn, as they will usually check it around to you. If on the river, there's not a scare card, and they again check it to you, you can probably throw out a value bet and see what happens.

If you get any resistance on the flop/turn, or if there's a bet and a few callers on the flop, then you can probably release without any regrets.
Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.

Luck is a Residue of Design.

It sounds like an annoying, but simple release if raised in late pos. Unless the guy has a history of calling and raising with BS. There, trouble abounds.
In early pos, depending on the sit, I'd raise or check-fold

in the end... it's still only one hand... and if you've been raising it's far too likely someone's got an ace... easy check-fold...

KK on an Axx is always a touchy subject, though the safe play is usually check/fold for inexperienced players. Bet/fold as a bluff isn't bad either.

Heads Up I fire one bullet for 1/2 the pot and hope he folds - If he just calls I'm usually done betting and hope to ck it down to sd but
if he raises I fold knowing the KK IS BEAT. Vs 2 or more opps - ck-fold as it's too likely one of them has an Ace.
