bet $1.69. Fold to any raise. Need more details(who calls etc) for the turn.

Make a small blocking bet on the turn. Looking to get raised really. I can't see him calling with much besides maybe JJ-TT.

In general in a position like this it might be a good idea to check. If there's a bet of anything less than the pot size then double his bet. A good check raise here will let you know exactly where you stand in the hand without blindly betting into a slow player throughout the hand.

I dont like checking here Tre.. you're either way ahead or way behind. Can't let anybody catch a set or funky two pair here. I like a blocking/feeler bet of abou 1/2 pot, and then if you get any callers, and depending on who called, either check the turn, or a similar sized bet.

I agree checking here would be a bad idea. Better to bet out and see where you stand rather than risk giving a free card. Personally I would be hoping to pick up the pot there and then so I'd bet about 3/4 the pot. If a player came over the top with a big reraise I'd probably have to throw the aces away.

I agree with what you are saying, but what funky two pair are they going to catch that is better than alexs?
