    Default TPTK, paired board.

I went with my gut on this one. My play was definitely not standard play for me.

I think you just call the flop and the turn. This is a way behind/way ahead situation and there really are no draws on the board so giving a cheap card if you are currently ahead is not bad. If you think you are ahead and raise you would hate to get reaised, and you have too good of a hand to fold in a big pot like this.
On the river you value bet after the check assuming you just called the turn. No one is checking the river here in front of you with a better hand after you just called the turn bet. If you raised the turn then maybe they would check to get a checkraise in. That check after you just call is a sign of weakness and so you value bet - the chance you get checkraised I think is close to zero.

I think this is a much different problem if there are reasonable draws on the board -especially with the presence of the third player. I guess a backdoor spade draws develops on the turn but no one is calling the flop bets with that. Then you might raise the turn or reraise the flop to get out the third player.

I'm calling the flop and then I'm raising on the turn to see where I'm at. I would say cap the flop, but you don't really gain too much info from a call on your cap. If you get a call from snurrehopp11 on the turn than I'd think that you are ahead, otherwise dump it and move on to the next hand...if he does have a three look for him to have A3s.

You're up against KQ and I like your raise PF. It gave you the button and this is a case where buying the button isn't a bad thing.

    Raise the flop.
    Call the turn.
    Bet the river.

The flop is raise or fold. I'd hate calling here. I'm guessing that you called the flop because snurrehopp11 led on the turn. You raise here on the flop and take one off for the river. You can call the river if he bets. Luckily, you took one off because he checked, so I'd agree with checking here on the river.

    The flop was capped.

I raised the turn, if it had been heads-up, I may have just called, but I really wanted to lose big deal.

Alex gets the gold star, snurrehopp had KQ. Can't believe how agressive he was with it.

I really like Pokerstars for limit. I like tables a little tighter than Party, and it has a much better rake.

I'm not sure that the flop is raise or fold. I'm going to the river with this hand regardless or what happens. There's too much of a chance that he has a weaker queen and I've found that very few people really press the flop much with a three here in SSH - they don't want to get rid of customers.

you raise the flop to get a free card on the turn, not because you are positive you have the best hand. This is properly using position.

most low limit players will go for the check raise on the turn if they have the 3, so in essence you get to showdown cheaper, which you said you are going to do no matter what. there is more than 1 or 2 reasons to raise and this is a prime example of a promotional raise. You want to manipulate your opponents actions don't let them dictate what you do.

Raising the flop gives you information, allows you to keep control of the hand, and allows you to take one off if you desire.
