Id start lower..you will only be able to get in 17 games with that BR. Also depends on what level of player you are. If your a strong player then Id say go for it. But youll have to play smart to keep your win/loss ratio good, its smart to keep your BR from dropping to low. Then youll be playing worrying about losing, which isnt good.

Can you play lower limits on your site? Also, what microstakes of cash games are available?
What site is this, btw?

If you have a good and solid foundation of Poker already, go ahead and play 10NL.
If you don't think you're so good just start on 5NL.

Yeah, as said, it depends on how confident in your online game you are. If you havent proven yourself to be a longterm winner yet. Then stick to 1c/2c and 2c/5c and the 3.40 SNGS until you can attest to some sort of decent winrate over a decent sample size. After that, move up stakes when you are comfortable and have the bankroll. I generally stick to at least 60 entree fees for SNGS and at least 20 buyins for NL ring.
GL, i started with a bankroll of $11.40 on stars and was up to 100NL and $27 SNGS within about a year and a half. It is good to have the confidence when you are playing that you can always move down a level to a game which you KNOW you can beat.Could god microwave a burrito so hot, that he himself could not eat it?

Hey guys, thanks for the advice .. heres an update of my play.. im currently trying the free trial of holdem manager and i like it! most probably going to buy it when the free trials over.. as u see the big downswing is me playing in the stakes where i shoulnt be playing! i currently went to .10/.25 with my 112$ on 4 tables, with a steady increase in profit! im currently at 184$ ..gonna stick with .10/.25 ..not enough action for me in the .5/.10 nl considering I'm playing in .10/.25 with 20-50bbs 12.50$ buy in.

Instead of playing 1$/2$ i dropped down to .10/.25... 50bbs 12.50$ i still have under 20 buy ins ..but in .5/.10 all i get is ppl with 5$ waiting for that hand to go all in..theres no poker involved its just bingo at those stakes...
