I was wondering what your stats look like for Axs over a good number of hands? I only have about 5,000 hands so far and it seems to me that its about even or down slightly... do you guys play Axs much? I've pretty much only playing it when I can limp in a later position and not in raised pots.

It is a winner for me, as is Kxs Qxs and even Jxs, but I play limit in mostly very loose games.
The bigger the kicker the better the payout.

I always thought that Axs was a winner for me to.
however pokertracker has shown me A2-A9s are not even break even, so I quit playing em almost entirelyRead my musings on poker and life at Online Poker Examiner, Poker Examiner, PokerNewsBoy.com, and My Poker Blog

I'd prefer not to post stats like this so numbers don't tell the wrong story. Axs differ from AK to AQ to AJ and so on. As the kicker goes down in rank, your hand is weaker, period. How you play these hands, if and when you play them is a better discussion because how you play marginal hands determine their value.
I might sound like a bitch here, but I'd rather not post these. I'll post examples and ask questions or look for some feedback, but that's it. You'll get more productive answers to whatever your real questions are that way, nitro.

I play almost all live, but will always play Axsuited if enough people are in the pot. I'll even call a raise as long as I think 4-5 people will stick around. If you get the flush, you'll almost always get a big pot. I NEVER play Ax unsuited with a kicker below 9 - I'm very good about that. It just isn't worth it - the chance of getting dominated or reverse dominated is just too high.
The reason why I love Axs is that it is SO easy to get away from - unless I get the flush draw or two pair I dump it right there. As long as you don't get the ace and then stay with it I think it is a moneymaker.
Funny about K and Q suited - I don't play these ever below 10 kicker. I started to rethink this and may start playing K9s - do you guys make money of Kx suited? I just loath building a pot and then losing to a higher flush so I just avoid them.

yeah I make money with them, I don't worry about getting out flushed unless a 4th hits the board or someone starts raising once the flush hits.
