Default How to make money playing sitngos

    How is everyone?

I already made a new thread on this topic but I can not find where it is and I believe this the best place to have it.

Well I am mainly a ring game player both online and live. Online I play Mid-Stake's $10/$20 PLO,NLH and Mix games, Live I play a bit higher
    $20/$40 PLO.

But Online I do like to mix in some sitngo's and it was about 6 months ago i found a method when it came to playing sitngos and since I have been using this method my Ratio is doubled my profits have tripled and I will do my best to explain in detail what this method is.

First I find a 6 or 9 man sitngo buy-in is up to you does not matter, but I usually play $20-$40 sitnogo's sometimes higher but as i said buy-in is depended on your BR, So as I start to see my lets say $20 9 man sitnogo filling up n then seating, I then sign up for a HU sitngo usually whatever the buy-in was for the 9man sitngo I will play a HU sitngo in this case being a $20 buy-in I will play a $40 HU and here is why.

First many players who play sitngos find themselves getting knocked out early because there getting involved in big pots with hands such as Ace Jack Off hands like that and in the beginning of a sitngo with the blinds being very small playing tight and patiently is alway's your best option and it also gives you a tight image at the table witch is great for the later rounds when the blinds are getting higher and the anties are coming into play and your 2 or 3 places for cashing here is where your tight image comes into play. It will alot easier for you to steal the blinds and anties and when you bet the players will always respect your bets and if you get a caller or re-raised well then you know that the player has a good hand.

But lets get back to the beginning while you are playing your 9man or 6man sitngo you are also playing a HU sitngo and when your in a HU session it demands all your attention and concentration so there for you are not playing those hands in early rounds that use to get you in trouble instead you are folding them as you should. And as I mentioned giving yourself a tight image.

The reason for buying into a HU sitngo for double the money of whatever your other sitngo is for is simple your playing your HU session giving 90% of your attention and concentration, still obviously paying attention to the other sitngo but before you know it you find yourself very close to cashing and having the tight image picking the blinds and anties will be easy because unless the other player has a really good hand they fold, there for not only giving yourself the best chance of cashing but giving yourself the best chance to actually win.

Now let's say you have won your HU sitngo well now no matter how you place in the other sitngo you have already doubled your money your buy-in for the sitngo is payed back to your BR and you also won money
so you are now pretty much free-rolling but you still want to win or at least cash in the sitngo.

But your playing with complete confidence, you have a tight image making your bets or raises that more intimidating, so now lets say the next player out will bubble the tourney and here is where everyone plays real tight, not wanting to get involved in any hands unless they have high pocket pairs or Ace-King or Ace-Queen suited and here is where you start to unleash hell on them coming in the pot with a raise putting all the pressure on your opponents.

Now lets say the bubble burst guarantying you at least another profit but now your playing with such confidence knowing you already made a nice lil' profit turning into a tight player to the aggressor mixing it up confusing your other opponents b4 you know it your playing HU for 1st place and you win, Well you lets say you played for the buy-ins i did, you won $80 from the HU sitngo and $90 from the 9 man sitngo winning $170 a total profit of profit of $110 Not to bad well when you do this a few times aday even not winning both tourney's but winning the HU and cashing in the other sitngo you still make a profit.

I am up today $240 so far by playing this way, and other players that i have shared this method with have all started seeing way more paydays and making withdraws rather than having to re-deposit every week.

Now I am not going to promise you the first time you try this you will win but what i will promise is you will completely understand the method and the upside to it.

If you are just starting your poker Carree out or playing on a tight BR management and you have yet to multi-table I highly suggest that you practice on the play tables first just until you feel comfortable multi-tabling and never play higher than your BR will allow I now on most sights they have micro-stakes staring at $1

Well I hope that I explained everything enough that you understand and best of luck.
