Advice on the following please:
Friendly weekly 18-20 person tourny
$25 buy-in
I finish at least 1-5 ($$) over half the time.
They (i) consider me text-book tight aggressive.
I've busted out often w/ jj/qq whether I push or not when down to 4 or 5 people.
Ex 1:
Hero(me of course)SB QQ w/ 7 BB left, an early limper, I push, BB AA, Game Over... Bad luck I know
Ex 2:
Hero QQ push
Villian A-x call
Flop A . . . . Game Over
Latest example:
5 people left 6000/3000 blinds
Folded to the button (who has 13 BB left) raises 15000
Hero SB JJ (11 BB left) call with the intention of pushing after the flop if an A doesn't show. I put him on a big A from recent bets.
Flop- 3 8 Q rainbow
I push
Am I playing this correctly or not because I don't seem to be getting screwed over early or mid game with JJ/QQ.

At times like this, stack sizes of all 5 of you are extremely important, but with just the given information, I'm shoving that preflop every time. It's hard to put someone specifically on a big ace 5 handed when everyone opens their range. Even so, AT is a definite possibility. If he has AA, KK, or QQ, you're screwed, but that's a risk we take. AK or AQ, you're racing, and that isn't horrible at this point. AJ or AT you have crushed. If you shove, he's folding anything worse than that anyway and you pick up 21000 (especially if they already think you're TAG).
