    Default Stradegy or Luck?

Hello friends. I was wondering if staradegies really work, I mean is there any stradegy which always win? Or most of the times luck matters? I read some stradegies, but most of them need to play lot of times and invest huge amounts of money, which I think are doesn't really worth or I cannot affort to loose...
    Any adice/suggestions on this?

I think in general there are sets of stratergym that will allow a player to achieve good results ,
however luck is always a factor , its just stands that one needs to use different stratergym
to minimise the "luck" factor and too increase ones' "odds" ....
Playing live games or online , one needs to factor in the "human" element , and "reading" ppl
is part of most stratergy ...
IMO "reading" ppl not only means physical "reads" but also I feel there are "pattern" related reads as well ...(betting pattern / frequency etc...tight / loose..)
Jusy my opinion , hope it encourages ideas... ?

and to answer a question , no there's not a stratergy that "will always win" , if there was
we would all use it and the game would be useless .... lol , imo

for me good strategy will give your more luck!
its good to have strategy than just relying on luck alone.

poker will so boring if that will happen...

yes, strategies work. folding 23os in early position is sound strategy that will save you money both in the short term and long.

Playing a sound ICM strategy in sit n go's will allow you to make less mistakes than your opponents and over the long haul will win you more money.

There are two types of poker players, people that just want to have fun for a couple of hours and people that want to have fun but make lots of money while doing it.

If you want to be good at poker you need to invest the time to learn solid fundamentals (strategy). You can do this for a minimal invest at the micros but you have to put in the time.

You can get AA 3 times in 20 hands which is very lucky but does happen and lose your entire stack all 3 times by playing the hands badly and not have a sound strategy.

So, long story short sound strategies will allow you capitalize better and make more money when you are running "lucky" and lose less money when you are "unlucky"

Some strategies are just so effective however luck matters. Sometimes though you're applying effective strategies but luck doesn't side on you then you'll still be bad beaten.
