playing omaha hi/lo split is A art form of decision making. I learned to play from A old poker player, who was A constant student of the game. My play has steadily improved by instituting his one absolute rule.
Play selectively, which means spend most of your time, folding and watching, and never raise with ace duece with out having A backup third drawing card to complete the lo. Play always for the hi hand, using the lo as A out.
The only unsnappable hand is the wheel lo and A royal flush hi, any other can be snapped off.
Don't be greedy, raise only to thin the callers thereby, improving your odds of winning the hand.
In tournament play you don't have any need to build a large stack, Improving your position steadily, by limiting the hands played to premium draws,if the flop misses , then go missing and fold.this will keep you from bleeding off your chip position!!!
