Hey whats up guys, I'm new to these poker forums and want to learn more about poker and the tricks behind it all. I been playing for about 3 years now and been doing pretty good, so fare I won almost every tournament I go to but it feels like im missing something like Postioning.
I know when to raise and how to bet and so on but where im confused in is the postioning, for example if im small blind or im big blind or dealer botton, what should I do or whats BEST that I should do in those postions depending on what hand do I have.
Thank you

Welcome to the forum...
If you win almost every tournament, why haven't you entered the WSOP main event?
Pick up a book called the "Kama Sutra"
Dude, basically, you are asking us how to play poker. This is a very general question that we could have pages upon pages of answers and still not scratch the surface. In seriousness, you should pick up a book. Since you are interested in tournaments, I recommend Harrington on Hold-em, volume 1 and 2.I study at KRE8R's School of Bankroll Management.
If you IM me looking for money or a trade, you will be blocked.

lol @ Kama Sutra. Thats a good one
In answer to your question - it depends. Position is only one piece of the decision making process. You also need to factor in relative stack size, how many poeple are in the pot already, what are the tendencies of the people left to act after you etc.
Like Triple-T says, it is a very general question and hard to answer ( the book he recommends is very good btw - little dated but still good). Try asking a little more specific question and you should have better luck getting an answer.
ie. folded to me on the button I have 15bb left and the blinds are tight and have me slightly covered. Blinds and antes are 200/400 with 25 ant. Should I open raise or just open shove and what range of hands should I be doing this with.

lol, vaguest question ever.

Welcome to the forum! For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

Position......hmmmmm. Best way to sum up position is this: Button - play more hands and with a wider range because you have the ability to act last and judge what to do based on the actions of those before you. Blinds - usually if you play from the blinds, play tight and make sure you have a strong hand if there are more than 3 or 4 people in the hand.
