Default AK no Improve vs blocking bet on flop

Ok I don't have an hand history but here is the situation :

You have position and get AKs. You raise and get few caller.

On the flop, you do not improve, and there is
    1- a flush draw
    or
    2- a straight draw

Now, some guys in earlier position make a weak bet, like 1/4 of the pot or something like that. He is obviously on a draw.

What do you do if :
    1- He gets several caller?
    2- All folded you to?

If there is a raise I am out no question asked.

I presume you mean that you don't have the flush or straight draw but are assuming the other guy does. (Note that what these guys did PF should play a factor as well)

The aggressive move is to raise to an amount that will make a flush or straight draw not profitable. If he calls a raise, I would put him on a draw plus a small pair, which would likely have you beat. You can then make a decision on the turn card.

If somebody raises that weak bet, then they too may be on a draw or have the draw and a pair or even a set. I would reraise if I was in an aggressive mood (i.e. had lots of chips, other players are passive, etc.) or just fold.

This is a good situation where you position is really going to help you if you get to a turn card.

That right you don't have any draw.

The thing is : he weak bet, there is a lot of chances that he is not going to fold to a decent raise. And he calls you, you are pretty much lost ... when should you slow down?

In this situation I would definitely raise the flop and continue to represent a big pair. If you get a caller, the turn is a blank, and he checks to you, I would then fire out another bet. If the turn is not a blank or the caller bets into you more substantially this time, then you have to make your best read of the opponent and the situation to determine whether it is time for you to release your hand.

Fold? You don't have to make a play everytime your AK misses.

This is the sort of situation that requires as much information as possible. You really need to know this player. If he is a good player and is on a draw, he will fold to a raise that kills his pot odds. If he calls, he may have something with his draw (e.g. top pair) or a set.

In the end, my choices here are to play aggressively and get the guy off the hand or fold right away. I don't like calling in this spot, you are simply giving him good odds to make a hand.

You know another thing about a strong raise is that you may get a check out of him after the turn. Then you can either take a free card or bet him out of the hand.

In the end, I don't think there is a correct answer to this question. If it's early in a tourney, I'd play tight and fold. If I had lots of chips and the other guy had much less, I'd be aggressive.

Generally speaking, if there are a lot of callers I will fold assuming one is slow playing of the group or one is too stuborn to lay down the draw. If it folds to me I usually push on him to make it look like I don't want to give him a cheap draw to beat my hand(which is ahead with ace high anyway). What does that do to your table image if you fold to this bet?

Fold this hand most of the time. Especially if the better gets a caller. Sometimes you have to raise it just so people won't think that everytime you raise pf they can just bet into you on the flop to get you off your hand. I know you are talking about NL but I see this happen all the time in limit and use it to my advantage. Guy raises in LP gets callers in the blinds and the blind bets the trash flop- PF raiser folds. I use this play all the time with good effect. There are some people who will always fold when the miss and there are players that will always bet after raising preflop. Never a good idea to play a hand the same way alll the time.
