is it really possible to get away from pocket queens, kings or aces in limit holdem? even though the board misses any possible flush or straight? would it be a mistake to bet out on the river???

Yeah, unless the villain has been super conservative, I'm betting every street with an over pair. If villain reraises, though, I'd call/check the rest of the way through the hand.

its easy to get away from them in limit holdem, but id be wary if more than 4 players see the flop and you're raised on the flop. i hate big pairs in LHE

The more experience you have, the more you will fold these hands. But if the board looks safe you rarely want to fold these hands.
