    Default A9o

How do you play A9o UTG or UTG+1. What about to a raise in LP? NLHE, SnG or MTT with loose/semi-loose passive tables?

Short of being the blinds, A9o really isnt a much of a playble hand anywhere.

A 9o is only good if very few players left in SNG.

Final 4 in an MTT or an SnG and I'd consider playing it. Ring game in an unraised blind, I'll play it.

UTG or UTG +1...fold every time (I won't play ATo from this position either). Ditto vs. a raise in LP...why put yourself in a position to have to play mindgames if the ace hits?

    Default yep

Very easy: A9o UTG/UTG+1 8-10 player tables.... FOLD: its a prime victim hand... even suited its not very good in that position.

Pretty much folding it everywhere except some SnG instances.

Here's where I would play A9off but this is really circumstational regarding the what part of the tournament, the play of the current table, etc.

UTG, I would only play this hand if I was severely shortstacked and was at a tight table. I might consider going all in and getting lucky. The other place I might play this is on the button with no callers before me. Depending on the table, I might raise and try to steal the blinds.

Those are two exceptions under very particular circumstances. The rest of the time its fold. A9o is really a dog with no good chance of a straight or flush and the possibility of going against an A with a better kicker makes this a losing hand in most cases.
