I have a question for those of you on here that prop. I have been propping for a couple weeks now on two different sites. I have done fairly well but I have noticed that my strategy has changed a bit. One thing is obvious, much more shorthanded play which means more aggression and more variance. However, I think my play is different on these sites than it is on non-prop sites while playing shorthanded.
I think the issue is that I know I will be getting all my rake back which usually ammounts to a few big bets per hour. Because of this I find myself playing a bit more passively and not taking as many risks as I usually do.
Anyone else here notice the same change in thier game while propping? Also, when you prop do you even think about the prop pay or do you just consider it a nice bonus at the end of the week?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

I can't imagine why your strategy would change at all. I'd just use it as a nice bonus every month.
