I don't like the shove either, but it is not a terrible play if you did it knowing that you were in a coinflip situation at best. I play mostly live, but when I play online at the micro stakes I notice that it's hard to get action unless both players have a pretty strong hand. Therefore after a min-raise and re-raise I put him on something like JJ before I even read the rest of the thread. It's hard to get someone in that situation that has AQ or AJ in which case you would be a huge favorite.

    hmm. my post died apparently.

I always call here, never shove. see the flop, check to him, call the continuation bet. see the turn. if it blanks let it go.

oh. and I disagree with 4tun8. you're not stacking off with it (well, NL5 I probably would), but an A or K hits on the flop and your ahead more times than not.

i think its easy to get action at the micro's maybe not big pots but people play bad hands in bad positions.

You are right, it is easy to win little pots in these games as a lot of people play pretty straightforward and wont call bets unless they have a hand (Again this is from my experience and I don't play a whole lot of online cash games). But when it comes to raises, re-raises, and all-ins usually somebody is getting coolered. That's what I was reffering to.
