I think I played with this same type of character the other night.

They min-raise because they're so afraid they won't get any action on their AA. Next think you know, they're getting all the action they can handle.

I did the same thing to a dude holding AA when I had K9 of hearts in the BB. He made a stupid min-raise, and I come along. Flop brings 2 9's and I smash him. He then b*tches about me calling with K9.

I tried to give him the same explantion you gave that dude.. but it fell on deaf ears.
