Thoughts on calling out a donk.
No, it should not be done. Not only does it kill your action, but it kills the action of fellow good players at the table.
I can think of plenty of times when I have watched some donk smash friends of mine who are rocks, and they let the donk have it.
I then get pissed at them because now the donk tightens up, and I don't have a shot at breaking him and his newly acquired chips.
There is a flip side of that coin though.
Sometimes, Im the rock getting smashed by the donk.
I don't have the brains or shrunken ego to keep my mouth shut.
If a bad player beats me, I NEED to tell how him lucky he is, just so he can recognize the fact that he sucked out on a superior player.
VERY VERY stupid of me. Not only do I kill my future action with said player, but I look like a fucking moron.
What kind of good player needs to berate his opponent for the sake of his ego?
Phil Hellmuth...I'll take the bracelets and WSOP success, but I certainly don't want to be like him.
