I threw away a lead online when i was large stacked (not overwhlemingly) but i was in a good position... i decided to play conservative, folding JQ JK and even aces .. this resulted in me losing a lot of hands as i werent playing them and i went on tilt and lost it all... so how should i play when ahead?
Bully short stacks?
Play patiently?

Strategy when large stacked

The first one.
Also the fact that you rank KJ, QJ and AA on the same plane of hand means you need some basic strategy revision.

Also that.
NB: You lost hands because you didn't play them? Usually when I don't play a hand I don't lose that much on it.

You're going to hate my answer here, but you should be doing both.
Don't bully a short stack out of a pot just to do it. Play patiently, find good spots, put reads on other players. Then when you get into situations against smaller stacks, put the pressure on them. You don't need to go nuts either. A min-raise can be enough to frustrate a short stack.
