major problem
Ok, I play online poker a lot, "grinding" it out at the low limit tables. I usually play really solid poker, get my money in when i have it, let the fish pay me off. BUT, when i get my AA or KK cracked, i almost always go on tilt. From that point, i can't control myself. I know i'm on tilt, but i still don't stop. I make really really reckless/dumb plays, and end up losing 10x more then i lost with my AA. So here is my question: Besides qutting, what are peoples methods for getting off tilt? This seems to be my biggest problem, if i could just relax i would make a lot more then i currently am. Any input apreciated.

What limits are you playing? I have found that moving down a limit that won't bother me is the best thing. Then I jsut started playing there all the time. If its just the loss of the hand, not the money "My AA's Get cracked EVERY time, its not fair, waaaah!" type feeling, then start seriously multitabling. There the good hands come alot sooner and the loss of one is quickly replaced with the knowledge that'll you'll get another within a few minutes.
Try "zen". Its really helped me focus my game. I don't think I have had a serious ring game non-alcohol related Tilt incident since I read it. Usually in tournaments my version of titl is just despair/fatige poker suicide mainly. IF I go wacko, i usually end up with a huge stack, since i thrive on that hyper-aggressive MTT style.
My best anti-tilt in ring games is the volume of hands that i get in a session. Online, I'll play for 1-2 hours at 200-250 hands/hour. For soem thats alot, for the serious Multi'ers, thats kindergarten stuff. BUt even with just 5 tables, I get a playable hand every 45-60 seconds.
But the thing that really keeps me going is the knowledge of path towards the lofty "long term" afterlife that is rumored to exist out there in poker heaven. If I keep earning my Sklansky chips, maybe Malmuth and Caro will let me in to recieve my great golden bracelet to wear up in the clouds...
Ok that was weird...

move up in limits so they dont call with shit
anyway... marm had some good advice. when i was 16 tabling, i didnt have time to think about being angry about getting sucked out. i dno ive always been good about not tilting though. if you can handle more tables you should try it. make more and hopefully tilt less
btw is coash a guy or a girl? jw

rofl
go up a limit.. that will stop you going on tilt..... rofl..
Seriously JK is right to some extent.. When you move up AA nad KK have less preflop value. If you go all-in with AA preflop at $1/$2 you WILL NOT be cracked - because no one will call you.... Actually you WANT ppl with dumb hands to call you... for every 16 cracks with 32os you win 84 times... this is a good return and a price good players will willing pay.
One of the chief differences between the limits is the callers.. When you're at the lower limts you curse the callers and river rats... when you move up you realise that these guys are your friends .. its the ppl who fold to you that are a real problem at higher limits.

also remember to tell yourself that AA or KK is usually 4:1 againt any 1 player. So if there's 3 others in the pot.... you shouldn't expect to win that many of them. Doyle Brunson says he expects to win half the pots he plays with AA. It's not as powerful as a lot of people think. You can never have someone that dominated preflop. Good luck

When i'm on tilt I move down in limit and try to learn a new game.
That's how I learned O8B and S8B.
Nothing really logical, but it really helps me...

Just remember the following question
would you rather your opponents all played well instead of sucking out on you?
