was wondering if i played this hand correctly, especially the preflop part.
the only thing i remember is that mp2 was pretty agressive, but he almost always had good pocket cards.

Looks to me like MP2 has trips. The call preflop is prolly too much for your chip stack. If you really like the hand you can reraise, but I'd prolly fold. Preflop is definately the key point, postflop seems pretty clear.

not much you can do with your stack. i dont really like calling their for a set. you dont have enough of a stack to get paid off when you hit. im probably folding or pushing pf.
since you called there isnt much you can do without a 9. pretty much have to check/fold unless you thought your hand is good then push flopit's better to be pissed off than pissed on

A problem here is, you may very well be heads up going to the flop, in which case you'd much rather have raised. If others call after you called, even if you hit you're set you will have the problem of raising/slow playing to keep them in the hand. I'd make it ~4k here.
