    Default 3-4 handed strategy help

Overall I have a good winrate over 44K hands. (15.83bb/100) However in 3-4handed games I am down almost 20 buyins Obviously I have a leak in these very short handed games. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I understand 6K hands is a small sample. Even so 20 buyins down can't be normal.

    Read "Killer poker short handed"
Amazon.com: Killer Poker Shorthanded: John Vorhaus, Tony Guerrera: Books

Entertaining writing style and lots of good advice on play HU through 6 max
Your VPIP and PFR don't look bad so hard to say with out looking at the big losers to see if they where played bad or coolers.

I have heard of solid players going on 20 buyin down swings so it could be variance but I would really look at the big losers to make sure they where played corretly

Nah, My graph still is going up Now if I can just figure out this 3-4 handed stuff I'll be golden. According to david my "killer" downswing of doom is on the way though

OT: What do you use to store the data from your poker client to make the graphs?

what's your opening range for co and btn? how wide are you 3betting from blinds and from btn? are you raising from blinds when co/btn limp?

don't overadjust and go completely insane, my stats are pretty similar to yours, 23/19 at 5max and like 26/22 at 3-4 handed.

all i can tell you is it's mega variance, not quite as bad as HU but its huge, and i'm still amazed at how hot you're running.

This is roughly my opening range 3-4 handed
    CO/Button: 45s+ 78o+ 68s+ 22+ J8o+
    3 betting AJo+ 88+ Occosional Ax A10s I try to 3 bet a little wider ip

I don't raise limpers from oop a whole lot. Mostly because I hate playing oop. So I have a pretty tight range I'd say from the blinds.

nearly identical to what i was opening, assuming you also open all aces

i prob wouldn't 3bet ATs but thats a choice thing, put more air in there, the 64s type stuff

i always felt like a bet a lot of flops and couldn't pick the right spots to barrel turns ip

I wouldn't worry too much, I reckon it's mostly variance. The shorter handed games will have higher swings and it's perfectly reasonable that you could be running super good in other games and super bad in these ones.
